The working thesis: the next generation of European category winners will be impact companies by default, not by label. Finding them early is the job. Writing about it keeps me honest.
I spend a lot of time in the Nordics, where I think founders have historically been too humble about what they're building. I write and speak about that, along with energy tech, European competitiveness, and what it takes to raise capital as an early-stage founder.
Off the clock: public equities, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, reading, ice bathing, and building side projects.
I believe the best companies of the next decade will be built by founders who treat impact as an engineering constraint, not a marketing label. Europe has the talent, the regulation, and the market pull. What it needs is less hesitation and more conviction. I want to find those founders early, back them properly, and write about the patterns I see along the way.
